With Online Design, this whole process takes place entirely online. You don’t have to drive to any meetings or appointments, or sit down face-to-face with a Designer (unless you want to, in which case, it will be by video conferencing!). The entire project takes place via email and online communication. And, yes, we are still able to achieve your goals to bring your ideal space into reality.

My name is Caryn Menches and I used to work for an online design company and was very frustrated that I wasn’t able to give my clients the service they deserved. So I made my own service, where I can source from anywhere AND speak to clients so I can help satisfy my client’s needs better. And to truly bring out each projects uniqueness and personality!

What is the difference between Online Design vs E-Design or Virtual Design?
The only difference is the name. All those fancy words mean the same thing and are used interchangeably.
Who is Online Design geared to?
Online Design is geared to people who either do not wish to, or need, a Full-Service Design, yet would like Professional guidance regarding their project. Others may just want a plan to follow so that they can complete it on their own timeline. Our clients are usually tech-savvy, busy professionals or small business owners that know the importance of time, planning, etc...
What is the advantage of Online Design over Full Service Design?
With Online Design, everything in the project is completed and delivered online. For example, Online Design uses retail vendors for sources, we do not travel to any sites to check on the project, nor do we measure the space or track any orders. The client is taking on the implementation of the project themselves, thus saving time and money for the client.
What if I have a question or want to add/change something after the Final Project is delivered?
One revision is included in the package price and must be requested within 14 days of receiving your design plan. Any additional revisions will be charged at the hourly fee of $197. Without these timeline provisions in place, projects can drag on for weeks or months. This is in fairness to all clients with respect to time and organization of other projects.
Can you recommend contractors or other professionals to get our project completed?
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend anyone specific for your project. This is due to liability reasons and the fact that we may not know anyone in your local area. We can guide you in what specialties to consider, such as an electrician or upholsterer, but there is not one specific person or company we can recommend.
Are there any other fees that are not included in the Project?
Yes. Shipping and handling fees as well as local taxes are not included in the estimated amount. These fees are based on your location as well as the products’ final destination. Charges are typically realized at the point of actual purchase. A good rule of thumb is to estimate between 15-20% in addition to the products price.
